It’s festival day again today, as over 200 participants head for the 4th Paladin Sports UK summer festival of the season. Wolf Hunt Rugby League are the hosts. Junior player egistrations across the region are now approaching 550 for the season. We’re going for the magic number of 700!

From small acorns... a fantastic effort by those involved in promoting #RugbyLeague in the Midlands. To have 200 participants in a summer tournament and junior player registrations approaching 550 is a definite sign of progress 🙌

And just like that, we move on to NEW Ravens RL for the next Summer Festival of the season. They keep coming thick and fast! Sunday at Porthway, from 10.30am.

This Sunday we host a huge Midlands Junior Festival with over 300 juniors expected from 9 clubs across the region at Old Coventrians RFC

And that's a wrap! The Paladin Sports UK Summer Festival Series came to an end at Coventry Bears today, as nearly 300 players came together for the final time this year.

We’re 3/4 of the way through our 8 month Juniors season and we’ve so much more to achieve. We can look back on many fixtures, including our girls in the Yorkshire League, festivals, tours to London and Skegness and the inception of our youngest age group, the Pups (U6s).

A productive meeting last night led to these plans; 1. Further improvement of experiences at the 6 Summer Festivals in 2025 2. The potential for U15 and U17 Merit Leagues for 2025 3. The provision of a CPD and volunteer package for all clubs to ensure minimum standards met

Tonight's Midlands Junior League Steering group meeting generated further exciting plans for 2025. Our aim is to work with the Rugby Football League to upskill our volunteer workforce and guarantee only the most positive matchday and festival experiences for our players.
