The latest version of Cisco’s WebEx has a new feature that tries to detect system mute status. Unfortunately it looks like it doesn’t detect _unmuting_, so doesn’t unmute you when you unmute with Mic Drop. We’re looking into it, but best bet for now is to disable the setting:

The latest version of Cisco’s WebEx has a “microphone status syncing” feature. Sadly, it doesn’t check for changes to the system mute status so won’t unmute when Mic Drop unmutes your microphone. Unfortunately this is a WebEx bug and not something we can fix.

WebEx’s latest release has a bug in detecting “unmute” status, which means it stays muted even after you unmute with Mic Drop. We’ve contacted Webex and offered to help, but in the meantime you can still use the web-based version with Mic Drop. Only the Mac app is affected.
