Back from the vet. Emerson was blasting out both ends and did a diarrhea, with blood, in the carrier at the vet. Stunk up the whole office and got all over him. :( We are waiting on results from the x-rays and I'll be prepping things to sell tonight to cover the bill.

We're heartbroken at the passing of Mark Merlino / Sy Sable of Prancing Skiltaire today. A founder of furry fandom, he helped pave the way for the fandom and impacted many lives with his work. Our condolences go out to his partners, family, and everyone impacted by his love 🥀❤️

I've taken Twitter off my phone and it is now relagated to desktop computer access only. There is no need for me to be connected all day and stressed! I'll be keeping Bluesky on me phone though, because it is fresh and clean clean and more controlled to friend statuses.

I got a package yesterday that I've been waiting for. Me, opening the package in the kitchen and looking in: "FINALLY!" Wife: "What did you get?" Me: "FINALLY!" Wife, more sternly: "Yeah! What's in the package?!" Me, looking stern but same voice: "FINALLY!" THE AQUABATS!

I was at the store earlier today and the cashier just up and took 50% off my total, saying "things are getting too expensive nowadays". I'll be thinking about this act of kindness for a long while!
