I cannot believe Saint Francis is going DIII. They’re throwing away decades of tradition across numerous sports. Now they’ll be irrelevant. Why does that matter? Because ABOUT 40 PERCENT of the student body is athletes. Athletics keep the school open. That’s a fact. Now what?

This year: • St. Francis Football won their first game against an FBS team ever. • St. Francis MBB made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 34 years. The school will drop to D3 after next year.

What does NIL have to do with SFU going D3 when no one in the conference is offering NIL or is expected to, to be able to compete? Explain it to me like I’m 5.
