GOOD NEWS: I've been officially promoted to Full Professor with a $5K salary bump. BAD NEWS: This is only enough to earn a tad more than starting Assistant Professors in our department. WHY? We haven't seen any meaningful salary raises in 10+ years. #mtbos #phdlife
