Hi everyone! I am David Kolb, a 7th grade math teacher in Northern Illinois and this is my 6th year in the position, but 13th year in education. Excited to be part of a weekly chat again. #TGEChat

A1 Gamification is simply the best. Not sure how I would teach without it. It is a way for students to be immersed and engaged with the curriculum in ways I didn't think were possible. #TGEChat

A2 Gamification makes learning fun. It makes differentation easier in my class. It allows for students to make their own paths thru the content in a fun and exciting way. Students can do as little or as much as they want in my game. They get to choose, how cool is that? #TGEChat

A3 One of the best parts of Gamification is that it can be used any time in the classroom. It can be a yearlong game, built into regular classroom routines. It could be presented as one unit or it just one lesson. The possibilities are endless. #TGEChat

A4 I currently have a year long game, but most XP opportunities come from side quests lately. Student who come to our Student Led Conferences tomorrow and Thursday will receive a SHIELD scratcher (an opportunity to earn XP/GP/item card). #TGEChat

Does anyone have experience 3D printing something that has several layers and each layer is its own stl file? Do you simply stack the layers on the build plate or do you have to group them or increase the height or anything? Kyle Manuel Adam Powley Mr.Sederquist
