Here's a different note: You can improve your mojitos dramatically by subbing half the rum with Cachaça. Try tequila in place of the gin in negronis. Mastiha, Greek "gin," is amazing in many gin cocktails, especially the aviation. Plum bitters in La Croix will brighten your day.

Finally managed to open one of the many Mastiha bottles I have at home. I mixed lemon infused Mastiha with Gin, fresh lemon juice, homemade blueberry syrup, touch of blue Curaçao (which I'd probably skip next time as made the drink too dark due to the blueberry) and soda. 🍹
