Such a deserved winner! Her film ‘The Gift’ (2021) is superb and completely blew me off my socks. A gorgeously filmed and witty rumination on art, politics, ideology and the gift economy. Made me both grin and feel uncomfortable. Major congratulations Jasmina Cibic.
