On October 7, it felt like a nightmare. I was asleep, meant to go to work at 10… then the war began—bombing, destruction, and loved ones lost. I took a few clothes, thinking I’d return to my room… but when I came back, everything was ashes. 💔

For me, the war has destroyed me—completely. I hate it with everything in me. I can’t remember life before October 7… my childhood, my beautiful memories—they feel gone. All I can remember is the war. There are 2.5 million people in Gaza, and every single one of us has a story.

My brother didn’t just die… the war took him slowly. His illness grew worse while the medicine he needed was kept from us. His kidneys failed, and there was no real food—only cans that couldn’t save him. He was only 38.and he left behind three children.Why does this kind of pain
