On this day in 1976, Argentinian political activist Alicia Raboy was abducted by a paramilitary death squad, and never seen again. I tried to reconstruct her life story in my book Looking for Alicia: The Unfinished Life of an Argentinian Rebel (OUP & House of Anansi, 2022).
