Wednesday, July 27 Station 4 will be TEMPORARILY closed for emergency repairs. The Station 4 trucks will still be staffed, just responding from other Stations. We hope to have the repairs completed and the Station back in service by Friday, July 29. Thank you for understanding.

Wednesday, August 3 @ 1:20 pm A Major Accident has closed several streets. S 2nd between Sentry and Airport is closed Also, Klein Tools at Easy is closed Oncor and Johnson County Co-op are working to repair some damaged power poles/lines.

#RendonFire Medic 26, Engine 26, Chief 26, American Medical Response Medic 174, Mansfield Fire Dept. Medic 1, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, and Texas DPS are working a major accident with entrapment in the 8100 block of FM 2738. Two vehicles, major damage. One patient requiring extrication.

Saturday August 13 @ 4:45 pm Crews are currently fighting a structure fire in the 2400 block of Bent Trail. Please avoid the area.

Friday, 11/11. We responded to the 3000 block of East Broad St for a structure fire. The fire was contained to the roof of the strip center. Two of the businesses suffered smoke/water damage. The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.

The Insurance Services Office has upgraded Mansfield Fire’s rating from ISO-2 to the superior ISO-01/1X. The rating is based on a comprehensive review of how prepared a community is to respond to fires.

Highway 287 SB at Walnut Creek - expect heavy delays. A large truck has struck the bridge and is stuck. TXDOT is en route. 287 southbound is down to one lane.
