Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba commended the Borno State Government, Ministry of Health, the Borno State Primary Healthcare Development Board for the approval of a council memo authorizing the release of ₦234,675,594.98 as Borno State’s 2025 contribution to the PHC-MoU Basket Fund.

The Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) has conferred an ambassadorial title on Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba Chair Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation , in recognition of his outstanding contributions to improving healthcare access for vulnerable populations in Kano State.

Dr. Rahila praised Dr. Magashi's contribution, describing him as "A TRUE CHAMPION OF HEALTH EQUITY" and highlighting the significance of his leadership in setting a precedent for others.

In his address Dr. Magashi expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his foundation's continued commitment to supporting an inclusive healthcare system in Kano State.

The Kano State Zero Dose Learning Hub ZDLH Community of Practice (CoP) on immunization budget accountability has paid an advocacy visit to Zakariyya Alhassan Ishaq Chairman of the Kano State House of Assembly Committee on Health and Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo, Chair House Committee on Appropriation

The CoP members presented the draft 2024 immunization budget accountability scorecard, developed by the Africa Health Budget Network (AHBN) and African Field Epidemiology Network AFENETAfrica (AFENET) consortium with funding from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance .

This achievement is a source of pride not only for Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba but for the entire people of Kano State and Nigeria at large. The Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation paid over N1 million to KSCHMA to cover annual premiums for 150 vulnerable individuals. The intervention aims to enrol 500 vulnerable individuals within the next 12 months & promote equitable access to healthcare services for all.

Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba Chair of Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation and KSCHMA Ambassador congratulated the members of the committee and urged them to work tirelessly and ensure the successful selection of right individuals, registration and quality of service for the beneficiaries. #HealthForAll
