Hey #Halifax, I need help. My daughter’s 3rd birthday is next week. She wants to go to the “shiny restaurant” where she wears a fancy dress and gets “rolls before our food.” Any suggestions? We think she’s referring to somewhere we went on vacation.

This blueberry crisp was a huge comfort when baby was born and we spent a week at IWK with due to complications. I thought it was just postpartum stress but I love knowing so many other new parents had same experience. I’m going to buy frozen blueberries to make this weekend.

Nothing motivates me to work quick and effectively as much as the fear daycare could call any minute to collect the toddler early because she’s “sick.” Do toddlers ever not have a runny nose?

Today was bad. Bad at work. Bad for family. Bad at home. I explained to 3 year old my bad mood had nothing to do with her. She gently reminded me “but you have me mommy” Suddenly everything wasn’t bad. 3 years ago we were in a nightmare infertility battle. Rainbows are real.

Today will be a better day.

I want this to be true. I want museums close to me to do this. I want it in adult size too.

Every time I make my daughter her snack on this plate I feel like a well organized, put together, super mom. A much needed win today as I’ve been really sick all week, now kid is sick, I’m behind on work and using tv as a babysitter but I’m still doing it! Super mom!
