Can we turn the activity of oncogenic kinases against cancer itself? In my postdoc work Stanford University, new in @sciencemagazine, we show exactly that. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… #ScienceResearch #InducedProximity Sarafan ChEM-H Stanford Cancer Institute Swiss National Science Foundation Stanford Medicine
Congratulations Nathanael Gray and the team Sarafan ChEM-H Stanford Cancer Institute Stanford Medicine, CDK-transcriptional/epigenetic chemical inducers of proximity (CDK-TCIPs) as a new modality to turn cancer driver to cancer killers 🤯 science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Ever wondered what a scientist looks like? Find out this #BiologyWeek by meeting some of the scientists who are part of our School of Life Sciences University of Dundee Check out the teaser below or watch our videos: - buff.ly/3LvJXXP - buff.ly/4cP3uhW (audio described)

We took part in a family fun day in the Caird Hall this week as part of Festival of the Future. Aitana de la Cuadra Basté, María Rodríguez-Ríos, and Gemma played some targeted protein degradation games, and chatted with members of the public about the work we're doing at CeTPD 🧪 #CeTPDInspire
Mechanistic and structural insights into degrader-targeted protein ubiquitinability, now out in Science Advances! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… Let's make more degraders that hit the bull's eye 🎯 Alessio Ciulli Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation
Super-proud of this work by Charlotte Crowe and the entire team! It has been my dream since starting working on PROTACs >15 years ago to one day see them working in action, glued to their Cullin RING ligase and target protein. It is dream come true now! Beautiful and Thank you 🙏
Researchers have revealed new levels of detail in the workings of 'protein degraders', molecules which can be used to develop drugs for diseases such as cancer. Magnified 3D imagery has shown, for the first time, how the technique works – Charlotte Crowe, Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation, explains 👇
We are one of the world leaders in targeted protein degradation research, revolutionising drug discovery by making treatment of diseases previously thought to be undruggable a reality. Read more about the work, published in Science Advances, on our site: buff.ly/4eFduvl
The new CeTPD Journal Club issue is live! Catch up with Aug-Sept literature 📰 buff.ly/4eMKUs2 Thanks to our amazing editors: Suzanne O'Connor, Yuting Cao, Kentaro and Kevin Haubrich! #openaccess #TPD #journalclub UoD Life Sciences Alessio Ciulli Farnaby Group
Very excited to see our #CRBN-midi article which we first preprinted last January 👇🏼now published in Nature Communications Kudos to Alena, David and the whole multidisciplinary team at Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation UoD Life Sciences nature.com/articles/s4146…
Our CRBN midi story is now in Nature Communications. The fruits of CeTPD CRBN Taskforce's labour, troubleshooting CRBN across a team of structural biologists and chemists to deliver this tool construct that we hope will fully enable the discovery of CRBN-recruiting degraders. Enjoy!
