Really pleased to see the work by Emma Dyer (Norman), Emma Coombe, and RCPCH Trainees recognised in Steve Turner’s blog this week. NHS England has made promises on improving the working lives of doctors, and there is so much more that can still be done.
bma.org.uk/pay-and-contra… This and so many other extremely common errors are why Junior Doctors need to check their pay. Errors are extremely common!
85% of resident (formerly junior) doctors underpaid £100s-£1000s per year. Great to present on widespread underpayment of almost all Junior Doctors, and what we are doing at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust to correct it. If you haven't checked your salary, please do!
