配置 being heiban felt rly weird to me and I realized it's because I usually hear it as 〇〇配置. Happens for a bunch of words

Sometimes it's still hard to tell who's talking but I've gotten a much better hang of Heike now. Even vocab-wise, one chapter only gives me a couple dozen new ones (some of which are just grammar things I've studied before and just want to remember better).

Before I leave I want at least one etymology dictionary and one classical dictionary. And maybe a kanji history dictionary, if that's a thing

The original text of Heike is so anime. it's probably more anime than the anime itself. Heike is エンタメ, after all
