We had a busy morning today reviewing multiplication strategies with Jeopardy, and Zooming with Greg Tang to expand our math knowledge!

Teachers, to start off 2022, I'm offering two free 30-minute virtual appearances. I can talk about writing, share a preview of I Survived in progress, or whatever you would like. No limit to the number of students, can do grades 3-8. RT to enter. I will notify winners 1/10.

5th graders were kind enough to share their research projects with us today! And what’s better than sharing with your younger siblings?! Seems like just yesterday these kiddos were in my 3rd grade class and now they’re almost middle schoolers!

It was AMAZING to be back on the ropes course this year! My favorite part every year is watching these kids push themselves past their limits and persevere through all of the challenging courses. Always SO proud of their hard work and positive attitudes.

Incorporating STEM into our math block on measurement! Students loved coding with the Ozobots! 🤖

I may be a bit biased, but that kid in the green hoodie is a cutie 🥰 My 2nd grader at WTE hasn’t stopped talking about how much he has enjoyed these visits!

These crazy kids absolutely crushed it in their concert today! So, SO proud of them 💚

3rd grade day was full of fun and learning!

Today 3rd graders turned into producers and consumers during our Economics Trade Fair. We were so impressed with all of their creativity when it came to creating their own goods and services.

First math lesson and stem activity of the year. So impressed with their teamwork and collaboration skills already!
