Fascinating #FJCEvent this evening calling for systemic change in how risk of harm is managed in private law proceedings. Emphasis of need for a culture change and how the adversarial process is particularly unsuited to children cases as it focuses on the adult dispute

Recently the UK officially accepted the ascension of Jamaica to the 1980 Hague Convention. This means that the Convention will come into force between the two countries from 1st November 2023.
