Shocking scenes tonight at Council tonight. Bexley Labour couldn’t even begin to defend Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s record on crime & policing so they walked out on the debate called by Making Bexley Better Conservatives. 9 months to go until 🗳️& have already given up representing Bexley residents.

⚡️Our Conservative Councillors tabled a motion noting the cuts to police numbers across #Bexley by Labour’s Mayor… and rather than stand and defend their party, Labour Councillors bravely flounced out the chamber and hid outside until the debate was over.
