With plans to start forestry work on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and continue in the weeks ahead, we wanted to alert Lil’wat Nation members of the continuation of Lil’wat Forestry Ventures’ forest fuels thinning project.

Our Lil’wat Forestry Ventures’ team met today with partners to determine the next steps on the work to strategically remove, or thin, trees from forested areas around the community. Times and dates are being finalized and details will be shared in the next few days.
