A few years ago, Tebogo Kgonyane and I had planned to trek to Mount Everest base camp together. But he sadly passed away in 2020. Claimed by the horrible pandemic Covid-19. I then promised him that I'd trek to base camp on his behalf. On 26 May, I fulfilled that commitment.
