If Trump keeps implying (or just stating outright) that the election will be rigged, one wonders if some of his supporters might not bother to show up.

FiveThirtyEight is out with a big project this week—no, not that one. Introducing our state-by-state guide to voting in the pandemic: projects.fivethirtyeight.com/how-to-vote-20…

This is one reason why we aren't listing the decimal, i.e. why we list Trump's win probability as 28% rather than 28.2%. Of course, this leads to another issue. The probability could change from say 27.51% to 27.49% and it would like it had shifted a full point (from 28% to 27%).

Yes, It’s pronounced “Comma-la” but let’s also not forget it should be pronounced “Harris”. That’s how we pronounce Biden, Trump, and Pence. Not Joe, Donald, and Mike. She deserves the same respect.

Newsweek has apologized for an op-ed that questioned Sen. Kamala Harris’ U.S. citizenship and her eligibility to be Joe Biden’s running mate, a false and racist conspiracy theory. But the magazine has not removed the story from its website. apne.ws/XlwbBQi

If you were confused, no worries! Convention rules require roll call & nominations for every candidate that passes the delegate threshold. I was asked to 2nd the nom for Sen. Sanders for roll call. I extend my deepest congratulations to Joe Biden - let’s go win in November. 🇺🇸

I've pointed out this contradiction before, but there's a type of person who believes that outward, highly public signs of Trump enthusiasm (yard signs, rally attendance, etc.) are more reliable than polls BUT that Trump voters are too "shy" to tell the truth to pollsters.

One thing Democrats could do—with basically no strategic downside—is to hammer home the message that voters should ask for and return their mail ballots as early as possible, which makes it more likely they'll be included in tallies on election night.

Just a reminder: The people behind the company of Vectorworks are hot garbage. Nothing like trying to put screws to an entire industry in dire straits. Every story I see about it just pisses me off.

If you're using your cell phone to rage tweet or rage facebook about how vaccines will be used by the federal government as a way to implant a tracking device in your body, then you don't understand irony.

How are we in 2021 and Lycian Lighting still has a followspot that is technically a slur? (Model number 1209). If we can demand sports teams change their names, why not lighting products? #Lighting #Theatre #LX

Finally watching last nights America’s Got Talent episode. And wow. The lighting is HOT GARBAGE. Can’t see, background over powers the performers, no shape, only flash and trash. That’s is certainly pat of why Simon Cowell Howie Mandel are so disappointed in all the acts.
