The most powerful tool for us is memorization. Yet we do not know how to memorize effectively, esp w/ different perspectives. Most people don't apply memory to different perspectives like they would math or doing taxes.

You can't just will yourself to know the full fundamentals of all math, so how can you just conjure up new modes of thought? You must study these, become engrossed in their studies, to fully have a radically different viewpoint of life.
