Is there any evidence that programmers write non trivial programs better with LLM assistance? Not the "junior devs are 20%" more efficient stuff, because that is meaningless.

Clojure might better market itself as "immutable programming language". A problem with the "functional" term is that its widely associated with type-puzzle kind languages and sets false expectations.

One day, Chas Emerick released a breaking change in lein-cljsbuild, and David Nolen complained on IRC because he couldn’t compile without modifying a config. Chas rolled back the change immediately. This is the only breaking change I can recall in over 10 years of CLJ/CLJS

"Spend less time creating boilerplate and repetitive code patterns, and more time building great software." This is supposed to sell Copilot, but I'm already using Clojure.

What's wrong with spending a week or two to learn Emacs if you can use it for 30 years? Hopefully toolmakers will stop compromising almost everything just to please beginner culture. With LLMs, learning is easier than ever. Ship quality tool + a manual.

I just block all of the VC funded engagement bait founders as soon as I see them now. The cheating app guy, the traveling the world with VC money guy. It’s like an infestation these days

Every new generator now has its week of fame before its output starts looking generic. Even the Veo3 videos start looking generic to me since a day or two.

"While websites serve both human readers and LLMs, the latter benefit from more concise, expert-level information gathered in a single, accessible location." (llmstxt spec) Ok, I'm an LLM now.
