Yesterday was an odd day. As we heard of the worst waits for ambulances, A&E, cancer treatments, and operations in U.K. history, and as staff resignations reached record highs, right wing nut jobs argued £27k a year is enough for nurses and junior docs. Tories are killing the NHS

At this time some LOs on our children's cancer ward were on end of life care. 1 parent allowed to see them at a time except to hand over. Siblings, grandparents, friends not allowed. 1 time all the staff stood in a doorway to sing a last happy birthday - and feared for their jobs
