Fourth and fifth graders had a virtual Better Together meeting with older Jewish adults in the community. They talked about Shavuot, receiving the Torah, and what the Torah means to them. We are so happy to keep these connections strong!

Shabbat Shalom! This week students showed their gratitude in a judaics art project. It is a great reminder for students and teachers when walking through the hallway or working near it, like these awesome 1st graders! #Gratitude #TheLernerWay #25YearsofLerner #ShabbatShalom

Sherlock Holmes has nothing on our 3rd graders! They have had their detective hats on this week helping Agent Rachel solve the mystery of the missing megalodon fossil. They then inspected a shark's tooth and megalodon fossil that was brought in 🕵️ 🦈 #TheLernerSchool

Our fourth graders have been busy! In Science, they learned the difference between quantitative and qualitative observations and reviewed how to take accurate measurements. In math, fourth graders also used compases to construct perfect circles ⭕📏 #TheLernerSchool #TheLernerWay

You might have been lucky and saw 1st graders art on the walkway during drop-off or pick-up. They explored lines using chalk during art last week. Our 4th graders used watercolors for their art medium to paint a summer experience. We love seeing these #CreativeMinds at work!

Kindergarten is exploring land artist Andy Goldsworthy. It inspired them to turn to the playground to look for materials to create their own creations. #TheLernerSchool #AndyGoldsworthy #LandArtist

Last week, our preschool Hebrew immersion group learned and practiced saying lemala (up) and lemata (down). This was prompted by learning the song Nadneda (seesaw). They then created and drew their own nadneda. #TheLernerSchool #HebrewImmersion
