PhD Meetings at LEPAMAP-PRODIS research group

LEPAMAP-PRODIS has organized a seminar on the manufacture of pulp, paper and its properties for Dual training students between the Santa Eugenia Institute and the Comexi company.

An event of informal talks for a non-specialized audience that included representation from LEPAMAP-PRODIS.

On the 13th of June of 2024, Roberto J. Aguado (LEPAMAP-PRODIS) introduced the first EPNOE Seminar on Computational Resources, featuring talks by Dr. J. Sanders (Schrödinger) and Dr. Yu Ogawa (CNRS). The seminar was available to members of EPNOE and to all researchers at the UdG

Our latest article in Cellulose (Springer-Nature) has just seen the light! It is one of the many fruits of our collaboration with our colleagues at the "Instituto de Tecnología Celulósica" - Facultad de Ingeniería Química Universidad Nacional de Litoral.

On June 27th, LEPAMAP-PRODIS, represented by the pre-doctoral researchers Gabriela Bastida and Giovana Signori, participated in the Demo Day StartBEC event, promoted by AINIA and the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food (MAPA), in Valencia.

Roberto J. Aguado from the LEPAMAP-PRODIS research group has presented two papers at the CUIEET'31 University Congress on Educational Innovation in Technical Education held in Girona.

Marc Delgado-Aguilar participated in the Summer School on Nanocellulose as invited lecturer,, organized by Grenoble INP-Pagora, , together with other renowned researchers in the field.

The LEPAMAP-PRODIS was represented by no less than five members at the EPNOE Association's Young Scientists Meeting with the hashtag #EPNOE2024. These were PhD students Giovana Signori Iamin, Andre Mazega, Samanta Sam and Laia Vilaseca Mas.

Quim Tarrés from the LEPAMAP-PRODIS research group has presented the paper “Blending Recycled Plastic from Bottle Caps with Banana Rachis Fiber for Waste Valorization”, at the 5th Edition of the Ibero-American Congress on Biorefineries held in Jaen.

Marc Delgado from the LEPAMAP-PRODIS research group has visited the Unidade Limeira in Suzano. It has been a pleasure to learn about their processes and developments. Special thanks to Maria Teresa Borges and the entire team for their hospitality.

Five oral communications have been delivered by LEPAMAP-PRODIS members in the 13th edition of CIADICYP, held by Universidad de Concepció.

We are thrilled to announce that Gabriela Bastida successfully defended her PhD thesis on November 14, 2024. Her research is the result of a joint doctorate between Universitat de Girona and Universidad Nacional del Litoral.
