I wrote to the Thirlwall Inquiry on 28 February, asking that the inquiry be paused given the serious questions now being raised over the safety of Lucy Letby's conviction. Since I did not want to put undue pressure on Lady Justice Thirlwall, I did not publicise my intervention.
