When cars do this I always wonder whether they: A. Didn’t look in their mirrors before they moved and were oblivious to us behind. B. Saw us but didn’t care and did the manoeuvre anyway. Can’t quite decide which would be worse…

Ineos’ only female rider set to leave the team. When are we going to start asking why one of the biggest cycling teams in the world is the only one not funding a women’s team? Rule where if your team has a certain budget you have to fund a women’s side? UCI

I’ve only reported a handful of times, this was the first I reported. The police initially didn’t see them drive recklessly but further down (clip 2) the police stopped them as they seemed to be shouting at every cyclist down the road. 🤔 (report did lead to prosecution).

The sigh of relief when they decide to open their eyes and not plough into you…

So bikes like Lime bikes and Forest bikes have speed limits on them for safety right? Yet cars have no limits and can reach speeds of way over 100mph when they never should be going over 70 at the most?…. Strange considering it’s cars that cause the most deaths isn’t it. 🤔

Reason no.586 for segregated cycle lanes. 🫣 The passenger might have looked before the cyclist moved into the bike lane then opened his door but this sort of thing wouldn’t happen if the infrastructure was up to scratch.
