Follow and support LAUSD Alliance for COVID-Safe Schools and help protect the children and our communities. Right now, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and LA Public Health are not interested in doing so.
Today on #LaborDay, we’re sending a huge thanks to United Teachers Los Angeles UTLA Adult Ed SEIU Local 99 for everything you do. You teach, counsel, feed, coordinate, play, protect, support, challenge, and help raise our kids. It’s so much. It’s too much. You & our schools deserve more. Thank you.

We’re in a wave. Alberto M. Carvalho we have no reporting, no dashboard, no protection, and *promotion* of sick kids in class. How is this ACTUALLY working out for attendance, learning, test scores, & budgets? We could minimally promote masks, tests & get HEPAs in all rooms
We’d LOVE to work with Los Angeles Unified and United Teachers Los Angeles on HEPA) filters for every room. (Our principal was in the classroom today bc we don’t have enough subs, my kid is sick for the 2nd time this year. The absences are real right now).
We're thrilled to be partnering with Sotomayor High School to build DIY air filters and measure air pollution benefits for #CleanAirDayCA! We’re proud to join students across the state who are coming together to clear the air. Join us: cleanairday.org/clean-air-pled…
