Happy to share that I've recently joined the Vector Control Team within the Access to Medicines and Health Products Division at World Health Organization (WHO) ! Super excited to be involved with strategies on how best to use #mosquitoes to prevent #infectiousdiseases transmission!

For many years my lab at La Trobe University investigated infectious diseases of wild animals with a "One health" perspective. It's great to see international organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) bringing global attention and public awareness on this topic! who.int/news/item/03-1…

Inspiring to talk to year 6 students Interact @ Ecolint about how #science contributes to the #SustainableDevelopmentalGoal of Good Health and Wellbeing. We talked (of course) about #malaria and these kids blew my mind with their knowledge and their visions for the future!
