What a great day we had yesterday visiting the Roman museum in Caerleon. The year 4s were able to see real artefacts found in the area, try on Roman armour and be taking through what life was like for a Roman doctor. Roman Legion Museum Emma Hardy Smith @ St.Anne’s

This week, Year 4 have been using what they have learnt to build and create their own volcanoes! Luckily we had no eruptions at school, but scientists have said ‘we could see some very soon!’ #watchthisspace

Today in Year 4 we are starting to innovate our story ‘King of the fishes’. The children have started to design their own main character for their story and here are just a few examples of their excellent artwork.

What an amazing week Year 4 has had! We’ve been inundated with visitors teaching us new skills, had a great time at sports day and to finish off the week this morning we’ve been making banana bread followed by Taekwando.
