Let’s be honest. A lot of people in the theatre industry don’t actually want to actually better or change things in the industry. It’s obvious in the way that they get soooooo flustered and upset, and are quick to say that the ways others are going about it is the wrong way

I know this is awful news but also am I right in thinking that sounds exactly like a heist that Carmen Sandiego would pull on the game show?

Broadway is a machine that has perpetuated harm time and time again, and those of you who aren’t interested in talking about it with a critical eye are participating in that harm.

I wish Jorts (and Jean) would take an opportunity to lift up the voices of disabled folks rather than spending so much effort defending a snarky quick take that caused harm (also look at the problematic folks being empowered in the replies.)
