Everyone claiming (incorrectly) that Deku gave up being a hero are using it as a trojan horse to say he can’t be a hero without Bakugo. It’s that he’s not only entirely independent of him but explicitly chose Ochako as his most important person that’s making them glitch out.

I mean the new DK design is very similar to the Mario Movie design, the same Movie that featured these designs for the other DK characters. It also used the DK rap so I wouldn’t worry about the redesigns meaning that Nintendo is trying to remove the Rareware influence.
