Having a birthday amid such darkness and despair and after all the losses I had to suffer feels like having a cup of tea with salt. Would anybody drink it? I have no words what this year holds for me, but my dreams have been crushed. I have one, which is an end to the genocide.

My work time has intensified unbelievably: Now working almost all days with no rest. Trying to get some rest, but what we see on a daily basis is literally unimaginable. I don't know when this ends, but I think, as a doctor, I've seen more than enough. There must be a stop!

The situation at the barely functioning hospitals is catastrophic: No enough medical devices An unprecedented lack of medications Scarcity of food and water Litter everywhere in the streets If you saw that report that people are "drowning" in sewage, that's v true.

I've really given it all, but I honestly don't do my job only. I have to queue up for water. I have to search for food. I have to help in everyday chores. I simply multi-task. Our life is really worse than that of the stone era. It's why we are called "dead" not "alive".

I am a doctor at the bombed school today, and I somehow decided not to work today. I can't even imagine. I lost many of my lives ones and patients. I can't believe it at all.

So heartbroken to hear that the school, which functions as an on-ground hospital, has left hundreds of casualties. I can't even imagine. My colleagues. We had many great moments together. All casualties in a trice💔💔💔

This barbarity must stop. I can't deal with this much trauma. It's enough. More than enough. I don't know how I even didn't go there today. This is the third attack on the school.

The school just had war wounded survivors and their friends. Why then it was attacked? It's unbearable and I can't believe it.

Also, Al-Salah club, which I played a tournament on its pitch, last Ramadan has been destroyed. Now only THREE sports facilities remain. What else? #olym

Attacks on hospitals can't be justified at all. There were guarantees that the school would be protected by international organisations. But the reality is no one can stop this war.

As doctors, we are preparing for tomorrow's anticipated record-breaking number of deaths inside medical facilities and hospitals after witnessing the horrible massacres that occurred today. We know it'll be the most hellish day, and we'll give it all to help as much as we can.
