Thursday night saw me ✅️ off another ground I've wanted to visit for a while as 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐂 went down 3-8 at home to Rugby Town FC.

Tuesdays PSF was Thornaby FC 1 v Whitby Town FC 3. Another ground that has been on my radar for some time and it certainly didn't disappoint.

Tonights football saw Otley Town AFC beat Ventus Football Club by 4 goals to nil in a pre season friendly. The wonderful Otley Chevin provided a nice backdrop.

Thursdays game, played at Idle Cricket Club, saw Clayton Albion beat West Leeds by 7 goals to 1 in the final game in the group stages of the Bradford Summer Cup. Victory saw Clayton make the semi finals.

Saturdays game saw Berry Brow AFC A, go down 1-2 at home to Meltham Fc.

Tonights pre season friendly saw Tadcaster Magnets beat Garforth Town AFC 1-0. A nice rural setting with great views of the brewery.

Tuesdays PSF saw a good performance from Vauxhall Motors FC as they beat Warrington Town FC by 3 goals to 1.

Thursdays football was in Rawdon, a leafy suberb of Leeds, as Rawdon Old Boys AFC entertained Yeadon Baildon Athletic, who took the honours with a 2-1 win. For those of you who like cricket as well, tonight you could watch both sports at the same time, plus do some fishing at half time.

This afternoon's affair was a UCL fixture that finished South Normanton Athletic FC 0 v West Bridgford FC 2. A cracking set up and a decent game on a sunny afternoon.

Sundays PSF was East End Park United (Wakefield Sunday League) and Chapeltown FC ( Leeds Sunday Combination League) ending 5-0 to the visitors. Played at Skelton Road, once used by Leeds United as they prepared to travel to face Sutton United in the 3rd round FA Cup tie of 1970

Tuesday nights football saw Linlithgow Rose F.C. beat Cowdenbeath FC 5-1. A nice ground with a great elevated stand.

Wednesday night football in the Ayrshire Amateurs Premier Division as the leaders Glenburn MW AFC came from behind to beat Dailly Amateurs FC by 2 goals to 1. A great scenic location on a sunny evening.

Tonight's football saw Aberdeen FC come from 2 down to draw 2-2 against FCSB (FC Steaua Bucuresti). All to play for in the 2nd leg.

A revisit to Victoria Park Irvine tonight, to see the Marymass Derby which turned into the Marymass Massacre as Irvine Meadow XI FC 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 beat Irvine Victoria 5-0 in front of a large crowd.

Todays encounter was Scottish League 2 as Stranraer FC and Clyde FC shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Another ground crossed off my list.
