On Thursday, President Trump will sign my Resolution to reverse California's absurd ban on gas-powered cars.

The court just denied Newsom's request for an emergency order removing the National Guard. It's telling that for Newsom, a clear and present "emergency" is posed not by the violent rioters and looters but by the dedicated Guard members who are there to keep the peace.

Burning cars, burning flags, molotov cocktails, looting, rioting: this is Gavin Newsom's California. These scenes aren't that different from what many of our citizens experience every day as crime has spun out of control.

The "nonprofit" behind the LA riots donated almost $500,000 to support Newsom's campaign. It then received $34 million in state funding. I'm sure this is all a coincidence.

Newsom owes an apology to our dedicated National Guard members for absurdly trying to blame the violence in LA on them. Everyone saw the horrifying scenes well before the Guard arrived. Newsom's own reckless policies and irresponsible rhetoric are to blame.

It’s official. President Trump just signed our legislation to reverse Newsom’s gas-car ban “once and for all.” Californians can now continue to drive the cars of their choice.

In "King"-like fashion, Newsom banned the vast majority of cars driven by Californians without a vote of the people or the Legislature. Fortunately, my Resolution undoing the ban passed with bipartisan support. Common sense is returning to America, and even to California.

I'm introducing legislation to cut off funding and tax-exempt status for "nonprofits" that organize riots. The group called CHIRLA tracked ICE and gave rioters real-time locations. It's received $34 million in public funding – after giving $500,000 to elect Newsom.

Let's connect the dots. The "nonprofit" CHIRLA spends $471k to make Newsom Governor. He rewards them with $34 million in grants to support their goal of "dismantling" ICE. CHIRLA then enables the LA riots, tracking ICE agents and broadcasting real-time locations to the rioters,

The Governor of California literally tried to ban 95% of cars on our roads with the stroke of a pen. With this week's victory, we reined in his recklessness and restored checks and balances. In the end, my Resolution passed with strong bipartisan support. The ban is history.

It's clear that substantial state, local, and federal funds were used to instigate the LA riots. My legislation will cut off funding for "nonprofits" like CHIRLA and end their tax-exempt status.

First, Newsom tried to remove our initiative to make crime illegal again from the ballot. He failed. Then, he led the campaign against it. He failed again. Now, he's trying to overturn the will of voters by refusing to fund it. Rest assured, he will fail yet again.

This is terrible news for riot-planners, who are losing some promising recruits. But it's another win for our movement to Make California Sane Again.
