Staying close to home this Memorial Day, but I just picked up some international intrigue to take me far away. Really excited to read both of these! I.S. Berry | THE PEACOCK AND THE SPARROW Mustafa Marwan

Complex characters, great plot, but man, what a MOOD. On every page I could almost feel the gritty Bahrain sand, and the ever-present tension. Huge thumbs up for I.S. Berry | THE PEACOCK AND THE SPARROW and 'The Peacock and the Sparrow'!

I knew I would like this novel, yet it exceeded my expectations. Mustafa Marwan drops you right into the action -- a group of doctors is trapped in a hospital in Yemen, caught between clashing military forces. The pacing is exciting and the ending is brilliant. Bravo!

What a year for crime novels. I've read so many great ones this year, Small Town Sins certainly falls in that category Ken Jaworowski

Friends, My Edgar-nominated thriller, "Small Town Sins," is being released in paperback today, Aug. 6. (With kind new words by Harlan Coben !) And I'll be reading on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the 58th Street Branch of the New York Public Library. Would love to see you there. #books

This is a terrific book by Ken Jaworowski. Highly recommended.

There's novels that never live up to the hype and then there's SMALL TOWN SINS by Ken Jaworowski. Seriously can't wait to finish it just to re-read it. Phenomenal.

Justin Lee Ken Jaworowski Spent 12 year in Central Pa. as a newspaper reporter. He captures it. A true home run. I read it on my Kindle, lost track of where I was, and when it ended, I gasped out loud. I think I was holding my breath.
