A1: we always do a welcome back assembly on the first day. Introduce staff and set a positive tone for the new year. I did a popsicle “pop n chat” with all my new kiddos, too! Great way to connect with new faces. #MEMSPAchat

A2: My parent group does a bbq at our open house and it’s a great way to meet and connect with families. Also, watch dogs and other parent volunteer opportunities. We try to get them in as much as possible. Not always easy but the door is always open! #MEMSPAchat

A4: PLC process helps gives staff a voice and fosters collaboration. Student voice and leadership are also goals.We include them in leadership roles within the school/day any chance we can… morning greeters, hallway tutors, hear our voice to name a few. #memspachat
