Lunch buddies 😁 the one turning the back seized a piece of chicken that fell out of my sandwich. Their grey feathers are a bit patchy, so I guess they're this year's crows just getting independent.

A Pomeranian duck chilling in Vienna. They live in the parks together with mallards and they hybridise as well, just to make watching ducks more fun 😊 this beauty let me pretty close to take a picture, ducks are usually really chill in this regard

If you ever wanted to know where a flock of corvids spend the night 😁 if my app is right, they're jackdaws and rooks. Possibly also some carrion crow and hooded crow, they also live here nearby. I always wondered about the amount of droppings below these trees 🤣

Another bird related Christmas gift, a watercolour painting of a common redstart. For the pose I used one old picture of a black redstart by Carl Bovis but I coloured it differently to match the species.
