Unfortunately, we can now confirm that the Frosty Pod Rot disease has been detected in Jamaica.

Frosty Pod Rot is a highly contagious disease which has been detected in local cocoa crops.

The fungal disease was confirmed by the Diagnostic Lab of CAB International (CABI) in the United Kingdom.

Please do not underestimate #hurricanematthew. Even without landfall in Jamaica, it has the potential to do significant damage.
