My parents are antique collectors. Found this 1889 report card inside an antique algebra book. Simultaneously comforting and disappointing that student absences were a topic 150 years ago!

It was a great day at Central! Coast Guard helicopter, food trucks, and lawn games for the win! Now, on to prom, graduation, and final exams!

I am so proud of our second-to-NONE percussionists (14 consecutive state championships), who are always ready when called upon to lead our school, no matter the occasion!!! Just a few examples: Senior clap-out, Coast Guard helicopter, 8th grade family night, pep assemblies.

It’s always a highlight to hear from State Superintendent Dr. Michael Rice, who presented to the Secondary Principals #EdCon24 attendees. It was especially good to hear about the good things the state is doing to help address the #teachershortage.

Today, WLC administrators and teachers (and a teacher’s mom and daughter) delivered signs recognizing students who earned a perfect score on an Advanced Placement exam. Congrats to all students who took an AP exam this year, and a special congrats to those who aced the test!!!

Some days at work are better than others…had a great day learning about the Michigan National Guard and the many benefits available to our graduates…along with some pretty thrilling views aboard a Chinook helicopter!

Was happy to have Amy Pashak over to Walled Lake Central High School to address our WL Marching Band together. It’s going to be a great season!
