Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire continues Kong's story in insane, fantastical fashion but also continues many of GVK's issues, some not as bad, others worse. However, stronger themes, a smaller, more engaging cast and lots of no-dialogue, monster-led scenes give it an edge imo.
