We held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Sunnyslope Elem. this morning for our new book vending machines. Every school districtwide will have a book vending machine installed as part of our Literacy Without Limits campaign to support literacy in our schools. Happy reading, students!

I always have a wonderful time serving as a Mystery Reader and today was no exception. I'm happy that Pacific Avenue Academy of Music's TK-K students also enjoyed the two books I read. Let us all continue to read with our young students to cultivate a love for reading in them.
