As our first day comes to a close, we owe you a bit of an update. In a word: incredible. In only about 12 hours, more than 1,700 graduate workers signed a union card to affirm our demand for fair working conditions at the University of Minnesota.

Stoked to share my paper on #atmosphericrivers in #WestAntarctica and their impacts on snowfall and melt! We use observations, reanalysis, and firn modeling to examine an AR family (series of 3 ARs) that occurred over #ThwaitesGlacier in February 2020! tc.copernicus.org/articles/17/86…

Happy #FieldWorkFriday to Combatant Col ice coring team. Probably one of the best groups I've had the privilege to do field work with. The students were amazing and a great testament to the future of cryospheric science. U all rock!

Excited to see the first paper of my PhD published today! (does this make me a real scientist now? 🥹) We used ICESat-2 to measure up to 15 km (!) tidal grounding line migration on the Ronne Ice Shelf, and found 4 different modes of migration! Check it out here 👇🏼👇🏼
