Required assumptions: 4. Replication-competent virus does not persist in different tissues except in very rare circumstances and/or does no damage to organs in which it occurs. 5. Wastewater is a signal mostly of asymptomatic, or at most mild, short-lived infection.

Required assumptions: 6. The virus is running out of evolutionary space, will necessarily evolve to become benign/seasonal, and/or will not evolve higher acute virulence.

Required assumptions: 7. Mitigating viral infections, e.g., by cleaning indoor air, is a net negative (too costly, disrupts the necessary working out of the immune muscle in kids, etc.).

Required assumptions: 8. We already know everything that SARS-CoV-2 does and there are no possible surprises coming in the future as people experience multiple infections. 9. Kids being infected many times will not cause any health issues as they grow older.

I’ve seen a description reporting the bomb craters from this Israeli airstrike in Gaza are “massive” (29’ deep by 50’ wide) and entire families are “buried in the sand.” It sounds like Israel might have used “bunker buster” bombs on these tents of displaced people.
