To be clear, nothing in that text prevents enforcement of existing state and federal laws that can and do apply to AI. This is the classic mistake so many doomers make. They like to act as if with AI that laws don't exist anymore. THEY DO.

To add to Rep. Jay Obernolte's (very good) point: artificial intelligence IS regulated. Unregulated AI is a myth - existing laws and regulations still apply. And ho boy, do we have plenty of those.
