Wreckers manufactured in the 60s are still in use in Kolkata Tram service! Quite a matter of concern to note that when these vehicles were manufactured there wasn’t any stringent emission norms and hence it is quite likely that the emission levels of these vehicles are quite high

Quite some T-ride today, the World Bicycle Day. But then the city roads were as usual having the crowd of cars and other automobiles. Probably the adaption of bicycles as a means of transport remains a far reaching factor for Kolkata !

People have no option than to draw water from a tube-well next to a choked drain ! Scene from Dacres lane widely popular for food joints and hence utmost hygiene should be maintained.

Me, once upon a time

Today we came across this Ambassador car. It is still in use with the Govt. of West-Bengal, as mentioned in the number plate. It is quite a wonder how a vehicle which was manufactured in 1977 could still comply with the present Emission norms and ply as a regular car !
