Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has led the way globally, thanks to the Stanisz imaging lab, in using chemical exchange saturation (CEST) and magnetric transferase (MT) MRI to distinguish radiation necroses from tumor. We continue our research and here are exciting results. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39220250/
Delighted to share single-cell and spatial genomic insights into meningeal SFTs from Kanish Mirchia (who functions on a different level, but not on this platform). Thrilled to be part of this study highlighting how dural-based metastases—rare yet significant in prostate cancer—can be distinguished from meningioma, using PSMA PET. This underscores the value of targeted PET in PC. Congrats Divya Yadav MD Jana Ivanidze sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

New clinical guideline for challenging spine cases. I have the pleasure of working with the leaders in the field! Thanks for the leadership Kristin Redmond Simon Lo Amazing support from arjun sahgal Shankar Siva Matthias Guckenberger Joshua D. Palmer, MD Eric Chang et al
Dr. Nina Niu Sanford Yep this makes sense & is consistent with our data looking at ctDNA right after lung SBRT & this paper: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…
Kambiz Nael UCSF Imaging 💯 3D TSE >> 3D GRE! Recently switched us to a DL SPACE T1 FLAIR from T1 SPACE, which combines better enhancement detection of TSE plus better GM/WM contrast and ⬇️ vessel enhancement. Combine with DL MP2RAGE+LAMA and DL FLAIR SPACE makes a nice combo!
Excellent case based review of challenging spine SBRT cases led by the the Radiosurgery Society. Proud to represent Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, who have been world leaders in the field, and led the practice defining CCTG SC24 randomized trial. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39233007/
