Last week, Teja Kattenborn, Maximilian Fabi and I installed seismometers and accelerometers in the Black Forest to monitor tree sway. Our goal is to relate the trees' seismic fingerprints to specific weather conditions, potentially reflecting their vitality. We’ll know more soon!
